About Webinar

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted Myanmar's economy, resulting in slowdown across multiple industries. Manufacturing, logistics and retail sectors have witnessed the high impact primarily driven by a combination of demand and supply shocks as supply chains globally were disrupted. However, Myanmar is expected to be one of the few countries in ASEAN to show positive economic growth in 2020 at 1.8% as per the IMF with V-shape recovery anticipated in 2021 at a 7.5% GDP growth rate.

In partnership with KBZ Stirling Coleman Securities Co., Ltd, this webinar aims to assess the impact of COVID-19 on the Myanmar macroeconomic outlook, supply chain efficiencies and evaluate the key high demand high growth sectors expected to drive recovery in the future. With an esteemed panel of experts, the discussion will be tailored to ensure that participants gain a deeper understanding of the COVID-19 impact, growth drivers and specific opportunities as well as potential next steps and mitigations plans implemented by industry leaders across relevant sectors.
